Purpose

Defenders have two tasks - to cover their direct opponent, while seizing opportunities to intercept

Setup
Groups of 4 each require 1/6 of court space, 1 ball. Elect 3 attackers - (A & B) who pass, (C) who is a receiver only 2m away, and defender (D).
Step 1
(A & B) pass the ball back-and-forth, while (C) follows the ball to provide a passing option, while (D) defends (C) with a front defensive stance however is also looking to intercept either (A / B)'s pass.

Defender (D) has 15 seconds to attempt an intercept.

Disguise the intercept until (A / B) has committed to the throwing motion and the ball is about to be released
Step 2
If (D) succeeds in their interception attempt, score 2 points for an intercept, 1 point for a tip.
Step 3
If (A / B) see (D) moving to intercept, they should throw a fake pass and pass to free (C). Defender scores minus -1 point

(A & B) keeps/calls the score.
Step 4
Defender works for 1 minute

If scoring, call out the score upon completion of turn.
Step 5
Rotate roles and repeat, attempting to beat the best score.
Step 6
Optionally increase/reduce the distance to (C) to make it harder/easier to intercept.
