  • Setup

    Every player has a ball, pair up to share if short of balls.

  • Step 1

    Form a 'Y" shape with the ball in one hand.

  • Step 2

    Flick the ball to the opposite hand so it can be caught with minimal arm movement.

  • Step 3

    Repeat the other way by using the non-preferred arm.

  • Step 4

    First progression: Players run sideways as they throw

  • Step 5

    Second progression: Pair-up and form a 'W'. This time players must throw to their partner's outer hand. After a while, about-face and use the opposite hand. Progress to sideways running for maximum difficulty.
