Attackers perform preliminary moves to receive under pressure from a sideline throw-in.

  • Setup

    Groups of 3 require 1/6 of court space. Groups choose attacker (A), defender (B) and feeder (C).

  • Step 1

    (C) has the ball on the sideline. (A) starts their movement about 5m away, in-line with (C), while (D) assumes a front or facing defensive stance.

  • Step 2

    (A) makes several runs towards each post, shadowed by (B), and has 5 seconds before they must dodge towards the sideline and receive from (C).
    Employ moves such as roll-off or roll-around to get past (B)

  • Step 3

    (C) passes to (A) while (B) attempts to intercept. Regardless of the outcome, return the ball to (C) and reset.

  • Step 4

    Repeat 3 times in the same role. Rotate roles and repeat.
