Two Double Plays

Purpose
A good drill for sharp handling and slick ball movement involving some 1-2 passing.

  • Setup

    Groups of 6 ideally - but you can include extras at stations (A & D) - require a line spanning one third of the court.

  • Step 1

    (A) performs a 1-2 pass with (B)

  • Step 2

    (A) continues with a second 1-2 pass with (C), then completes their turn with a pass to (D)
    (B joins A), (A joins C), (C) stays-put. Remind everyone that moving player joins 2nd station they passed to.

  • Step 3

    (D) repeats back the other way, first 1-2 pass is with (C), second with (B), then passes to (A).
    (C joins D), (D joins B), (B) stays-put.
